G D Goenka Public School Maths Bazaar Expo Transforms Learning
Meanwhile, G D Goenka Public School in Gaya converted its campus into a vibrant marketplace during an inventive Maths Bazaar Expo designed to make mathematical concepts engaging and practically relevant. Students assumed complete responsibility for colorful food stalls and interactive game counters, which they independently planned, designed, and managed throughout the event.
Participants applied real-world mathematical principles by handling budgeting exercises, cost calculations, profit and loss analyses, estimation techniques, pricing strategies, and basic accounting procedures. Students procured raw materials, established selling prices, managed cash transactions, provided accurate change, and maintained detailed records of daily sales and expenses.
The expo featured homemade snacks, creative treats, imaginative games, and activity corners—each stall demonstrating entrepreneurial initiative, collaborative teamwork, and artistic creativity. The campus atmosphere became festive with bright decorations, enthusiastic young vendors, and eager visitors including teachers and parents. Educators and guests commended students for their demonstrated responsibility and innovation, describing the expo as an unforgettable hands-on learning experience that successfully connected classroom theory with practical application.
Both events underscore how Patna-area schools are creating meaningful opportunities for student development beyond traditional academics, fostering environments where gratitude, practical skills, and community recognition contribute to holistic education.
