RBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Rajasthan Board Targets March Release Amid Evaluation Delays
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has not yet confirmed the official release date for the highly anticipated RBSE Class 10 results for the academic year 2026. School Education Minister Madan Dilawar has not made any formal announcement regarding the declaration timeline, leaving students and parents in a state of anticipation.
Potential Delay from Initial March 20 Target
Earlier, the Board had set an ambitious target to release the results by March 20. However, recent reports indicate a possible delay due to the extensive evaluation process and scheduled holidays. Board officials now suggest that the results are expected to be announced by March 23, pending completion of all assessment procedures.
Students will be able to access their marks through the official portal at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in once the results are declared. The administration is making concerted efforts to release the results promptly to assist students in planning their next academic steps effectively.
Massive Evaluation Process Underway
This year, a staggering 1,068,078 students registered for the RBSE Class 10 examinations across Rajasthan. Additionally, 909,087 students registered for Class 12 exams, alongside 7,811 for Praveshika and 4,122 for Varishtha Upadhyay examinations.
Approximately 30,915 teachers are currently engaged in evaluating answer sheets throughout the state. Board Secretary Gajendra Singh emphasized that the primary aim is to complete the evaluation process in a timely manner so that students can receive their results well before the commencement of the next academic session.
Traditionally, RBSE results were announced in May, making a potential March release a historic first for the board. This shift represents a significant administrative change aimed at providing students with more time for future planning.

Passing Criteria and Next Steps for Students
To pass the RBSE Class 10 examinations, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject as well as in the overall aggregate. Students who score below 33% in one or two subjects will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations.
Those who are dissatisfied with their marks may apply for scrutiny or rechecking of their answer sheets through official channels. However, students failing in more than two subjects will be declared unsuccessful and will need to reappear for the examinations in the subsequent academic year.
Upcoming Examination Schedule Changes
Starting from the next academic year, RBSE Class 10 Board examinations will be conducted twice annually—first in February and then in May. This new schedule is designed to provide students with multiple opportunities and reduce examination pressure.
The administration plans to commence the academic session on time from April 1, ensuring that students have adequate time for preparation and planning after their results are declared. This structural change aims to align Rajasthan’s education system with evolving national standards.
