RBSE Aims for Early Class 10 Results Declaration by March 20
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is making significant strides to announce the results for Class 10 by March 20. This move is particularly noteworthy as it will be the first instance where RBSE results are released ahead of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), setting a new precedent in the academic calendar.
Accelerated Timeline for Academic Session Commencement
This early declaration is strategically aligned with the education department's plan to initiate the next academic session from April 1. An official from the board confirmed, "The board is attempting to release the results for Class 10 by March 20, and preparations are underway to release the results for Class 12 this month as well, or by early April." This coordinated effort aims to streamline the educational process and reduce delays for students.
Examination and Evaluation Progress Details
The RBSE examinations commenced on February 12, with a substantial registration of over 19.90 lakh candidates. This includes:
- 10.68 lakh students in the secondary (Class 10) category
- 9.10 lakh students in the senior secondary (Class 12) category
Officials have reported that the collection of answer sheets from all exam centres has been successfully completed. The majority of these copies have already reached the designated evaluators, who are currently engaged in the meticulous process of checking and entering marks.
Mark Entry and Result Preparation Timeline
Evaluators were allocated approximately 10 days to complete the copy checking, with this phase expected to conclude by March 8. A senior official elaborated, "Evaluators are currently checking and entering the marks. They were given approximately 10 days to complete the copy checking. This work is expected to be completed by March 8."
Following this, the mark entry process is also projected to finish by March 8. Once all subject marks are compiled and uploaded onto the portal, the data will be forwarded to the firm responsible for result preparation, ensuring a smooth and efficient declaration process.
