The Tamil Nadu school education department has launched an online portal for Class X state board students to apply for provisional mark certificates and scanned copies of answer scripts. The applications will remain open until May 27.
How to Apply for Provisional Mark Certificates
Students can visit the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in and enter their registration number and date of birth. Then they must click on the SSLC Provisional Mark Certificate section to submit their application.
Application for Scanned Answer Scripts
For scanned copies of answer sheets, students need to pay ₹275 per subject. Regular students must apply through their respective schools, while private candidates should apply through their exam centres.
The department stated that only candidates who obtain scanned copies of their answer scripts will be permitted to apply for retotalling or revaluation later. The dates for downloading scanned copies and applying for retotalling or revaluation will be published on the website.
Supplementary Exams and Revaluation Schedule
Applications for supplementary exams will be issued from May 26. Revaluation applications will be accepted from June 17. Supplementary exams are scheduled to begin from July 8.
Students are advised to check the official website regularly for updates and to complete their applications before the deadline.
