The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in Prayagraj has officially declared the preliminary examination results for the Assistant Teacher, Trained Graduate (Male/Female) Examination-2025. Science Stream Results and Vacancy Details: The preliminary examination for Science was held on December 7, 2025, during the first session. This recruitment drive encompasses 764 posts in the male branch and 573 posts in the female branch. Additionally, it includes specialized teaching positions for differently-abled institutions: 10 posts for Sparsh Blind School/Integrated Special Secondary School, 4 posts for Signal Deaf and Dumb School/Integrated Special Secondary School, and 2 posts for Prayas Physically Handicapped School/Integrated Special Secondary School under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Out of 102,953 registered candidates for Science, 49,538 actually appeared for the examination. Based on their performance in the preliminary test, 329 candidates have been declared successful for advancement to the main examination. Commerce Stream Examination Outcomes

The Commerce preliminary examination took place on December 21, 2025, during the second session. This recruitment includes 35 posts in the male stream and 23 posts in the female stream. From 66,165 registered candidates, 30,619 appeared for the test, with 887 candidates qualifying for the main examination phase.

Sanskrit Stream Recruitment Results

The Sanskrit examination was conducted on December 7, 2025, in the second session. The recruitment encompasses 90 posts in the male branch and 92 posts in the female branch, along with specialized teaching positions: 4 posts for Sparsh Blind School, 1 post for Signal Deaf and Dumb School, and 1 post for Prayas Physically Handicapped School.

Out of 40,402 registered candidates, 26,273 appeared for the examination. A total of 2,772 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination stage. Similar to other streams, candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies were not available in certain categories due to the minimum proficiency standard requirement.

Home Science Stream Examination Details

The preliminary examination for Home Science was held on December 21, 2025, during the first session. This recruitment includes 206 posts in the male branch and 163 posts in the female branch. Additionally, there are specialized positions: 2 posts for Symptom Blind School/Integrated Special Secondary School and 1 post for Signal Deaf and Dumb School/Integrated Special Secondary School under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

According to official data, 89,223 candidates registered for Home Science, with 55,475 appearing for the examination. A total of 2,784 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. In certain categories, the target of 15 times the number of vacancies could not be ensured because candidates failed to attain the prescribed minimum proficiency marks.

Important Commission Notifications and Legal Considerations

The Commission has clarified that a separate notification will be issued regarding the schedule for the main examination and the online application process for successful candidates. Details concerning marks and cut-off marks will be uploaded only after the declaration of the final selection result. Notably, no applications will be entertained under the RTI Act, 2005, during this process.

An important legal consideration: The results of female candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh will remain subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble High Court in Special Appeal No. 475 (D)/2019 filed by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.
