Speaking to the news channel, Khushi Mukherjee categorically denied any romantic involvement with the cricket star. She stated there was no "romantic relationship" between her and Suryakumar Yadav. The actor explained that her previous statements had been sensationalised and taken completely out of context.
She further claimed that her Instagram account had been compromised. Khushi revealed that while she had spoken to Suryakumar Yadav in the past as a friend, they are no longer in contact. She emphasised that there has been no communication between them, even after the recent controversy erupted.
