Siddhant Chaturvedi Denies Role in 'Dear Comrade' Hindi Remake, Ends Remake Run
Siddhant Chaturvedi says no to 'Dear Comrade' Hindi remake

Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi has officially and publicly shut down widespread rumors about his casting in the much-talked-about Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster film 'Dear Comrade'. The actor took to social media to clarify his position, putting an end to the speculation that had been circulating in the media for some time.

Social Media Clarification Puts Rumors to Rest

Addressing his fans and the media directly, Siddhant Chaturvedi used his Instagram Stories to issue a clear statement. He wrote, "Just to clarify, guys, this isn’t true." Elaborating further, the 'Gully Boy' star made a significant announcement about his future career choices, stating, "No remakes for me anymore, even though I’m a fan of the original film and the actors. Much love and respect. Thank you." This declaration marks a definitive shift in his selection of projects, moving away from reinterpretations of existing work.

Praise for Pratibha Ranta and Future Collaboration Hopes

While dismissing the remake news, Chaturvedi did express strong admiration for actress Pratibha Ranta, who was also reportedly being considered for the female lead in the project. Pratibha Ranta gained significant recognition for her role in the film 'Laapataa Ladies'. Siddhant added a hopeful note for the future, saying, "Anyhow, I’d love to collaborate with the supremely talented @pratibha_ranta on something original. Looking forward." This opens the door for potential collaboration on a fresh, non-remake project.

Interestingly, Pratibha Ranta had also previously addressed the rumors on her own Instagram story. She did not confirm or deny her involvement but urged caution, requesting media pages to "refrain from posting or circulating any unverified information and wait for an official announcement." She mentioned that such speculation around projects she is not associated with has been a recurring issue, leading to public confusion.
