Anjali Phougat Open to Acting, Reality TV If Aligned With Values

US-based Indian-origin actress and designer Anjali Phougat has expressed her openness to acting opportunities, including reality television, provided the platform aligns with her personal values. In a recent conversation, she reflected on her past acting experience and the meaningful connections she has forged within the film industry.

Reflecting on Her Acting Journey

Anjali recalled her role in the short film Inclusion Through Unity, which she acted in a couple of years ago. She described the experience as significant because it allowed her to explore storytelling beyond the realm of fashion. "That experience was meaningful for me because it allowed me to explore storytelling in a different medium beyond fashion, and I genuinely enjoyed being part of something that carried a social message," she said.

Since then, she has received several acting offers, including projects from Bollywood, but has not pursued them due to logistical challenges and creative considerations. "Since then, I have been offered several film projects and Bollywood subjects as well. However, many of them did not materialize due to practical challenges, especially because I am based in the United States," she explained.
