In a past interview with Bombay Times, Sandeep fondly recalled the organic beginning of their relationship. He revealed that since Ashlesha's home was far from the set, she began staying over at his place for a few nights a week. "And those few nights became months and we realised that we were happy with each other," he shared. He even admitted to having cold feet early on, but Ashlesha's pragmatic and calm approach solidified their bond. "Ashlesha pointed out how we always had the option to separate if things didn’t work out. Gradually, our bond got stronger and then the thought of separation never crossed our minds," Sandeep added.
After 23 years of dating and building a life together, the couple decided to take the sacred vows of marriage, culminating their long-standing partnership in a traditional and soulful ceremony that they recently celebrated with their followers.
