One person was killed and two others injured when an Army truck veered off a hillside in Arunachal Pradesh's West Kameng district on 26 June 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 2 pm when the vehicle, belonging to the 18 Sikh Light Infantry (LI), was transporting three personnel toward their unit.

The truck lost control on a mountainous stretch and plunged down the slope. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the injured were evacuated to a nearby military hospital. The deceased soldier's identity has not been officially released pending family notification.
