BTS Jungkook's Instagram Suspended, ARMY in Shock

BTS singer Jungkook left fans confused after his Instagram profile suddenly disappeared, prompting many to ask whether he deleted the account or lost access due to a platform action. Fans who opened the page saw error messages, while ARMY began sharing screenshots and theories across social media. The concern grew because Jungkook had only returned to Instagram in 2025 after deleting his earlier account in 2023, which had more than 52 million followers.

Jungkook's Instagram Account Disappears

According to Hindustan Times, Jungkook's sudden disappearance from Instagram shocked fans, with many asking what happened to the BTS member's profile. Some users reported seeing messages such as “Sorry, this page isn't available” and “User Not Found” when they tried to visit his account. Koreaboo reported that Jungkook later shared a screenshot of an Instagram notice on his TikTok story. The notice read, “JK, your account has been suspended.” It also said, “If you do not request a review within 180 days, your account will be permanently disabled.”

The notice listed the suspension date as May 27, 2026. It said, “Your account is currently not visible to people on Instagram, and you cannot use this account.” The reason given in the notice was, “Your account, or activity on your account, does not follow our policies regarding intellectual property rights.”

BTS Fans React to Jungkook's Suspension

Odisha TV reported that Jungkook appeared confused by the issue after sharing a screenshot linked to the suspension and adding a simple “?” on TikTok. Fans quickly reacted and tried to calm each other online. One user wrote, “Guys be calm. This happened to Yeonjun, Haechan and Mark.” Another fan page claimed, “Apparently, Meta's AI is mistakenly deactivating accounts, including verified business and celebrity profiles, and now, it seems, Jungkook's Instagram account has also been affected and taken down. This recently happened to other K-pop acts which was later restored.”

Jungkook had deleted his earlier Instagram account in 2023. He later returned with the handle @mnijungkook, which he said meant “my name is Jungkook.” The account gained millions of followers within hours of its launch. The latest suspension has become a major topic of discussion among BTS fans.
