Divya Dutta's Family Getaway to Goa by Train and Her Latest Projects
Divya Dutta's Goa Trip by Train and New Book

After a demanding period of work and travel, actress Divya Dutta recently took a short two-day break in Goa with her family. In an exclusive conversation, she shared details about the rejuvenating getaway and her current projects.

A Train Journey to Remember

The actress, known for her versatile roles, opted for a train journey instead of flying this time. 'The kids wanted to experience the Vistadome coaches on the Mumbai-Goa Tejas Express, so we booked that. It turned out to be a wonderful trip,' she said. Divya admitted that the train journey offered a sense of anonymity she enjoyed. 'I hid myself nicely and enjoyed the experience,' she laughed.

Family Fun in Goa

During the holiday, the family engaged in a variety of activities, including parasailing, beach outings, shopping, and visits to sea-facing restaurants. However, shopping required a bit of strategy. 'I think it's fun to cover yourself up and go shopping quietly because the moment I speak, I get recognised. My sister-in-law was with me, so I would make her do all the bargaining,' Divya shared.

Back to Work: Success of 'Chiraiya'

Returning to her professional commitments, Divya is receiving an overwhelming response for her web series 'Chiraiya'. 'I knew the show would do well, but the response is far more than we imagined. People are discussing it, sharing their own stories and constantly messaging us. Wherever I go, people shout Chiraiya, Chiraiya,' she said.

Writing Her Third Book

Alongside acting, Divya is continuing her writing journey. Having authored 'The Stars in My Sky: Those Who Brightened My Film Journey' and 'Me and Ma', she is now working on her third book. 'A lot of friends have suggested I write scripts as well. But right now, I'm focused on finishing my third book, and it has nothing to do with movies,' she concluded.
