In a candid interview, the 25-year-old actress reflected on the influence of her father and her late mother, Kelly Preston, emphasizing their unwavering encouragement throughout her life.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Ella shared that both John Travolta and Kelly Preston were among the biggest influences in her life and her most ardent supporters. She recalled, "He was always very supportive. He and my mom were always supportive of whatever I wanted to do. So even if I decided to do something else in the end, they would have been supportive of that, too."
Ella added that despite her parents' own successful careers in Hollywood, they were genuinely happy that she pursued acting because of her deep passion for the craft. "But I think that they were happy because they enjoy this job so much, and I have an equal love for it. So I think that they were just happy that I enjoyed doing something that much," she explained.

Ella recently starred in 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach,' the directorial debut of her father, John Travolta. Set during the golden age of aviation, the film follows a young airplane enthusiast and his mother as they embark on a cross-country trip to Hollywood. The synopsis describes their journey as transforming into "the trip of a lifetime." The film is based on Travolta's own children's book, published years ago.
Discussing the collaborative experience with her father, Ella said, "My dad let me be a part of a lot of the creative aspects of the film, which was so nice, and we would kind of lean on each other with advice and run everything by each other. So it was just magnificent." In the film, she portrays Doris, a flight attendant.
Ella's reflections offer a heartfelt glimpse into the supportive environment fostered by her parents, and her role in her father's passion project highlights their shared love for storytelling.
