Karan Johar Invokes Miranda Priestly

Johar referenced the iconic character Miranda Priestly from 'The Devil Wears Prada' while discussing his Met Gala outfit. "I think Miranda Priestly in her own words would find my outfit," he said, before adding, "I don't know about her nod of approval, but I think she would definitely find it groundbreaking." He clarified the joke by saying, "And not in the way she describes florals in spring."

The filmmaker acknowledged that wearing the outfit throughout the evening would be a challenge. "That itself is going to be a challenge and a battle," he remarked. He also shared his plans after walking the carpet: "So, once I'm inside, then I just want to eventually, after the glory of this beautiful garment is shown on the carpet, I would like to hang it in the troubleshooting room is what I believe it's called." Johar added that the inside look was more manageable: "Once I'm done with it, the inside is much more comfortable." After the carpet, he planned to hang out, meet people, have a drink, and enjoy the evening.
