Kimbal Musk Issues Statement on Epstein Email Appearances

Kimbal Musk, the brother of tech billionaire Elon Musk, has publicly addressed the recent release of documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. In a detailed statement, Kimbal Musk clarified why his name appears numerous times in Epstein's emails, attributing it to Epstein being subscribed to a regular newsletter that Kimbal distributed to thousands of recipients.

Denial of Association with Epstein

Kimbal Musk strongly denied having any significant relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, whom he referred to as a "demon". He stated that his only encounter with Epstein occurred during a single daytime meeting at Epstein's New York office. "I never met with him again and I never went to his island," Kimbal emphasized in his declaration.

He further explained that his connection to a woman mentioned in the emails, whom he began dating in 2012, was not facilitated by Epstein. "I met her through a friend. Epstein did not introduce us," he clarified, aiming to dispel any insinuations of Epstein's involvement in his personal life.

Context of the Emails

The resurfaced emails from the Department of Justice files have sparked discussions, with some suggesting Kimbal Musk might have met the woman through Epstein. However, Kimbal's statement counters this, highlighting that the email correspondence primarily stemmed from his newsletter subscriptions.

  • In one 2013 email, Epstein invited Kimbal Musk to his private island, to which Kimbal responded that he could potentially visit in the spring.
  • Another email showed Kimbal Musk messaging a redacted recipient about "going back a step to just dating," noting he was "not able to do a real relationship right now."

Elon Musk's Involvement and Actions

Elon Musk's correspondence with Epstein has also emerged in the latest document release. Elon Musk confirmed he never accepted Epstein's invitations to the island or to fly on his so-called "Lolita Express" airplane. "I had very little correspondence with Epstein and declined repeated invitations," Elon Musk stated.

He expressed relief over the files' release, saying, "No one pushed harder than me to have the Epstein files released and I’m glad that has finally happened." Elon Musk has also committed to paying the legal fees for any of Epstein's victims who face lawsuits for speaking out against Epstein and his alleged associates.

Condemnation and Call for Justice

Both Musk brothers have condemned Epstein's actions. Kimbal Musk expressed sympathy for the victims, stating, "My heart goes out to the many victims of Jeffrey Epstein, as it does for all who have suffered any kind of sexual abuse or harassment." Elon Musk echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the need to prosecute those involved in Epstein's crimes, particularly the exploitation of underage girls.

The ongoing revelations from the Epstein files continue to draw attention to the connections between high-profile individuals and the disgraced financier, with the Musk brothers now clarifying their limited interactions and distancing themselves from his illicit activities.
