Milly Alcock Talks About Her Latest Superhero Role

Over the past few days, ahead of the release of 'Supergirl,' Alcock has been actively sharing details about the filming process, from behind-the-scenes moments to her thoughts on the film. She even discussed the famous cape she wears in almost all the scenes revealed in the trailer. On the 'Raiders of the Lost' podcast, Alcock revealed that the cape is one of the most historically significant items in the film. She admitted that her cape is made from the same material as the 'Superman' cape used in the 1978 film. 'Yeah, I think that they found there was like 16 meters of that material, so yeah, that's in the back of my cape now,' she added.

At the time, Christopher Reeve played the beloved superhero Superman in the film franchise. The late actor also donned the cape in the sequels that followed, including 'Superman II' (1980), 'Superman III' (1983), and 'Superman IV: The Quest for Peace' (1987). Reeve passed away in 2004 after suffering heart failure and cardiac arrest.
