Priyanka Chopra Hates Waking Up Early, Reveals Routine

Priyanka Chopra, a global icon and mother, has repeatedly stated she is not a morning person. In an old interview with Pinkvilla, the actress candidly expressed her disdain for early rising. She said, "I can't rise early. I hate waking up early. I can stay up till 7 in the morning, but don't wake me up early unless I'm working and literally being paid to get up in the morning."

Work Demands Overcome Morning Aversion

Despite her hatred for mornings, Chopra takes her professional commitments seriously. In a separate interview with Vogue India, she revealed that she often had to start work at 5 AM for 12-hour shifts while filming "The Bluff" in Australia. She shared that after long workdays, she would rush home to her mother and daughter, Malti Marie Jonas. She added, "It's been amazing to have them with me in Australia, but if I am being totally honest, it's also really challenging and somewhat isolating to be so far away from everything."

Priyanka Chopra's Morning Routine

In a 2021 interview with Vogue UK, Chopra detailed her morning routine. She explained, "I didn't want the answer to this to be drinking coffee, so this is a new thing. What I now do, and it's something I learned in India, is keep a copper glass next to my bed and keep water in it overnight. The good qualities of copper seep into the water – it's good for the immune system, bones and nerves. I drink that cup first thing, then I start my espresso machine and go about my day." She also noted that her dog often wakes her up. Her first breakfast consists of an espresso followed by light Indian breakfast options.
