Kolkata: Responding to allegations that Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee continues to use chartered flights for his trips to Delhi, party MLA and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh on Friday stated that if the flight costs are borne by the party, he does not support this practice.
"I am not aware whether he (Abhishek) is taking a scheduled flight or a chartered flight. I am also not sure whether he is hopping in a chartered flight being used by someone else to travel. In either case, there is nothing wrong. But if party funds are being used to fly to Delhi in chartered flights then I cannot support it, given the times," Ghosh told reporters.
