Early Career and Rise to Fame
Urvashi entered the entertainment industry at the age of six, starting with a commercial ad alongside Revathi. She made her television debut as a child actor in the Doordarshan series Shrikant, playing Rajlaxmi. Her first adult role was in Doordarshan's Dekh Bhai Dekh, followed by Waqt Ki Raftar. In the 2000s, she appeared in popular shows such as Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Kahiin To Hoga.
Reality TV and Comeback
In 2012, Urvashi participated in the sixth season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, emerging as the winner. She later starred in the historical fantasy series Chandrakanta as Queen Iravati. In 2022, she made a comeback to fiction with Naagin 6. Recently, she appeared in Tum Ho Naa, where she opened up about balancing work, family, and friendships, and made a heartfelt apology to her friend Anita for missing her wedding due to work commitments.
