Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has a new reason to celebrate as his daughter Krishna Bhatt Sarda has given birth to a baby boy. Krishna, who married businessman Vedant Sarda in 2023, welcomed her little one while actively staying involved in her father's upcoming project 'Haunted Echoes Of The Past'.
Vikram Bhatt becomes a Nana
Recently, Vikram happily confirmed the news in a chat with Bollywood Hungama, saying that he had not slept all night and was still trying to take it all in. "Yes, I am a nana now. Ab main dadagiri kar sakta hoon! I am very tired. We didn't sleep all night and we've been working all day. It hasn't sunk in yet," he said. He also gave a health update on Krishna and the baby, and laughingly shared how his daughter refused to stop working even on such a big day. "Krishna and the baby both are fine. She insisted on working on 'Haunted – Echoes Of The Past' even while going into the OT (Operation theatre). I call her 'QC' (Quality Check)! She always insists, 'I want to see all the shots. Don't okay anything without QC'," he added.
Krishna Bhatt Sarda's pregnancy amid legal troubles
The filmmaker, who spent more than two months in jail after being arrested in a cheating case, did not shy away from talking about the tough time his family went through during this period. He shared that Krishna's pregnancy was far from smooth, as she was constantly caught up in running around due to the ongoing legal troubles. Vikram also revealed that his daughter's name had been dragged into the FIR, which only added to her stress, though she was eventually left out of the chargesheet. Despite everything that was thrown at her, Krishna stayed strong and came through it all. He said, "The poor thing was stressed and had a miserable pregnancy. To all the people who wished her ill, I want to tell them – you all failed."
