The Delhi government will soon launch homoeopathy and Unani outpatient clinics at the Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan (CBPACS) as part of its efforts to strengthen integrated AYUSH-based healthcare and stress management services in the capital.
Initiative Details
The initiative, announced on Thursday, will be implemented through the Directorate of AYUSH, Government of NCT of Delhi. It aims to provide holistic and affordable healthcare by bringing multiple AYUSH systems — including Ayurveda, Yoga, homoeopathy and Unani — under one roof.
Operational Plan
Officials said that doctors and supporting staff for the new OPD services will be deployed by the Directorate of AYUSH, which will also bear the operational costs. CBPACS, an autonomous institute under the Delhi government’s Health and Family Welfare Department, will provide space and institutional support for the clinics.
Government Commitment
Delhi Health Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh said the government remained committed to expanding access to affordable and holistic healthcare. “The introduction of homoeopathy and Unani OPD services at CBPACS will further strengthen integrated AYUSH-based treatment and stress management facilities in the national capital,” he said.
