The newly constructed house, named Nanda Deepa, was sponsored by M Gangadhara Rao, who serves as the president of Yakshagana Kalaranga and managing director of Nandakumar Associates. This initiative is part of the organization's broader commitment to social welfare, which includes the Vidya Poshak scheme designed to aid educational pursuits.

The beneficiary of this house is Yajna, a student currently enrolled in I PUC. She is the daughter of Kusuma and Krishna, and her family has been selected under the Yakshagana Kalaranga Vidya Poshak scheme, highlighting the organization's focus on integrating housing support with educational opportunities.

Inauguration and Praise from Dignitaries

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sri Vishwavallabha Thirta of Sode Mutt, who officially opened the house. During his address, he lauded M Gangadhara Rao as a model president and philanthropist, noting that Rao dedicates a portion of his income to social causes.
