Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced that the free-of-cost dialysis facility currently available at civil hospitals across the state will be extended to 16 additional sub-divisional hospitals. This expansion aims to improve access to life-saving treatment for kidney patients in rural and semi-urban areas.
MoU with Medanta Hospital for Maternal and Child Health
Rao also revealed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Medanta Hospital to strengthen maternal and child health services. Under this partnership, pregnant women and newborn babies will receive regular health monitoring and consultation from Medanta’s specialist doctors. The initiative is expected to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in the state.
The minister made these announcements during a public meeting held as part of her thanksgiving tour of the Ateli Assembly constituency on Thursday. She emphasized the state government’s commitment, under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, to improving healthcare facilities and promoting overall development in villages.
Inauguration of Development Projects Worth Rs 3.13 Crore
