In a heartwarming display of prompt governance, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took immediate action to save the life of a seven-month-old infant suffering from a serious heart condition during Monday's Janata Darshan program in Lucknow.
Mother's Pleas Heard at Public Hearing
The desperate mother, who resides in a rented house in Rajendra Nagar, Aishbagh, approached the Chief Minister with her critically ill baby. She explained her dire financial situation that prevented her from securing proper medical treatment for her child's heart ailment.
The Chief Minister immediately instructed officials to arrange an ambulance and transfer the infant to King George's Medical University (KGMU) for emergency care. Acting swiftly on these orders, the KGMU Vice Chancellor ensured the child received prompt medical attention upon arrival at the hospital.
Wide Range of Public Grievances Addressed
Monday's Janata Darshan saw participation from more than 60 people representing various districts across Uttar Pradesh. The attendees presented diverse complaints spanning multiple government departments.
Key issues raised during the public hearing included:

- Electricity-related problems affecting daily life
- Property encroachment matters

Among the notable cases was that of paramilitary personnel from Bulandshahr who approached the Chief Minister regarding land encroachment issues. After receiving their application, CM Yogi emphasized the importance of their service to the nation.
"Whether you serve on the borders or in internal security, your duty is important. The government will take responsibility for your family," the Chief Minister assured them.
He immediately directed officials to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure a quick resolution. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that citizen safety and efficient service delivery have remained top priorities of his government since assuming office.
The Janata Darshan program continues to serve as an effective platform for direct communication between the public and the highest levels of state administration, demonstrating the government's commitment to addressing grassroots issues promptly.
