Ayushman Cards Now Available via Mobile App in Prayagraj

The government is taking significant steps to make healthcare services accessible to the masses at the grassroots level by leveraging digital mediums to expand the beneficiary base. Both the central and state governments have prioritized the issuance of Ayushman cards. A substantial portion of the government machinery has been mobilized for this initiative, and digital devices are being extensively utilized to support the process.

Block-Level Efforts and Achievements

Dr. Rajesh Singh, Nodal Officer of the PMJAY scheme in Prayagraj, stated, "At the block level, with the help of Panchayat assistants, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi staff, Ayushman cards are being generated daily for eligible beneficiaries. So far, cards have been issued to 12.37 lakh beneficiaries across the district."

Direct Card Generation via App

Dr. Singh confirmed that individuals can now generate their Ayushman cards directly through the mobile application, eliminating the need to visit the Chief Medical Officer's (CMO) office. To generate a card online, the beneficiary must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed under the Ayushman scheme.

Once completed, you can download your Ayushman card directly from the app interface.

Rapid Progress Across the State

Dr. Singh added, "The initiative to issue Ayushman cards is progressing at a rapid pace across the state, aiming to provide healthcare security to people from all walks of life." The government's focus on digital solutions is expected to further accelerate the coverage of this health insurance scheme.
