Focus on Maternal and Child Health

The upgrade of the Community Health Centre in Ateli is expected to provide better facilities for maternal and child care, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for medical services. The partnership aims to leverage Medanta's expertise in healthcare to enhance the quality of services at the CHC.

Officials present at the event highlighted the importance of such collaborations in addressing healthcare challenges in rural and remote areas. The MoU is seen as a model for future public-private partnerships in the health sector.

The initiative aligns with the state government's broader efforts to improve healthcare access and outcomes, particularly for women and children. By upgrading the CHC, the government aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and promote better health practices in the community.
