A health camp was organized at the Kukrail picnic spot in Lucknow on Friday to commemorate International Labour Day. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Abbas, regional head of business and clinical operations at the International Oncology Cancer Institute. Over 200 employees of the forest department were screened during the event.
Camp Highlights and Participants
The camp was chaired by IFS officer Shatanshu Pandey. Key services provided included comprehensive physical examinations, cardiac evaluations, cancer (oncology) screening, and pulmonary function testing. Several major hospitals participated in the camp, including Leptas Hospital, Medanta Hospital, Senior Hospital, and Seva Hospital.
Senior Consultants Involved
Senior consultants who contributed to the camp included Dr. Devendra Singh (Director, Leptas Hospital), Dr. Anjali Somani, Dr. Shashank Kumar, Dr. Irfan, and Dr. Govind. Their expertise ensured that the forest department employees received thorough medical attention.
The initiative aimed to promote health awareness among workers and provide essential medical services to those who often operate in challenging environments.
