International Yoga Day was celebrated with fervour at Ankur School, Sector-14, PU Campus, Chandigarh, on June 21, 2026. Teachers and students came together to practise yoga on the school premises and gain a deeper understanding of its importance for physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Students Participate in National Yoga Olympiad 2026

The students actively participated in the National Yoga Olympiad (NYO) 2026, the theme of which was "Yoga for Healthy Ageing". This year's theme emphasised the role of yoga in promoting health and vitality across all age groups.

Awareness Activities and Creative Competitions

To encourage students to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle, a range of awareness activities and yoga sessions were organised throughout the school. Creative competitions, including painting, slogan writing and essay writing, provided students with opportunities to express their understanding of the significance of yoga. In addition, students enthusiastically took part in the online yoga quiz by registering on the official portal.
