On Thursday, a significant bicycle rally will journey from Ranchi to Ulihatu, the birthplace of Birsa Munda. This event creatively combines fitness, tribute, and adventure while retracing routes connected to the tribal leader's enduring legacy. The rally emphasizes the profound connection between Jharkhand's history and its land, creating a moving tribute to the state's freedom fighters.
Comprehensive Cultural Programs and Exhibitions
As preparations intensify for the main cultural program, the city is establishing numerous exhibitions and district stalls. These displays will showcase government schemes, welfare achievements, and local crafts. Special exhibitions will highlight Birsa Munda's life and struggles, along with recognizing contributions from Jharkhand movement leader Shibu Soren.

State tourism director Vijaya Jadhav explained that her department has carefully designed these programs to engage both citizens and visitors. "We want the celebrations to reflect the spirit of Jharkhand: energetic, diverse and deeply cultural. From the street dances to the Ulihatu rally, each event is meant to showcase the pride and identity of our state," she stated.
