NCC Madurai Celebrates Republic Day Camp Contingent's Achievements

The NCC Group Headquarters in Madurai organized a special felicitation ceremony on Friday at the National Training Academy (NTA) in Idayapatti. The event was dedicated to honoring the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 contingent from the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andaman & Nicobar (TN, P & AN) directorate for their remarkable performance at the national-level camp held in New Delhi.

Recognition for Discipline and Dedication

The ceremony served to formally recognize the cadets for their exemplary discipline, unwavering dedication, and outstanding representation of the directorate at the prestigious Republic Day Camp. The event highlighted the contingent's rigorous training and significant contributions to the overall success of the TN, P & AN directorate on the national stage.

Senior Officers Commend Cadets

Colonel VKS Chauhan, the Group Commander and Chief Training Officer of the contingent, visited the National Training Academy to address the cadets personally. His presence underscored the importance of the achievement and the leadership's commitment to nurturing young talent.

Additionally, the RDC contingent commander, Lieutenant Colonel Pankaj Narayan, and the officer-in-charge of the RDC, Captain (Navy) GC Prem Pradeep Kumar, were present at the ceremony. They actively interacted with the cadets, offering words of appreciation for their hard work and the pivotal role they played in enhancing the directorate's reputation at the camp.
