Weather Forecast for Himachal Pradesh

The meteorological department has forecast light to moderate rain or snow at several places in Himachal Pradesh on June 21 and 22. Isolated areas across the state may continue to face similar weather conditions throughout the week.

Yellow Alert Issued

A yellow alert has been issued for June 21, warning of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching 30 to 40 kilometre per hour in most districts, except Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur. On June 22, similar warnings apply to Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi districts.

Temperature and Rainfall Data

At 6.5℃, Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti recorded the state's lowest temperature on Saturday, while Paonta Sahib was the hottest with 38℃. Rainfall was also reported in several areas, including Manali (19 mm), Kufri (16.6 mm), Sunni (15.2 mm), Sarahan (7.5 mm), Rampur (2 mm), Shimla (1.2 mm) and Banjar (1 mm).
