Joshi Lauds Rozgar Parva for Boosting Employment

Hubballi: Union minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday said the nationwide ‘Rozgar Parva’ launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to boost employment opportunities across the country.

Addressing the 19th Rozgar Mela, inaugurated by the Prime Minister via video conferencing, Joshi said appointment letters are being distributed to over 51,000 candidates across the nation. “The Union government is committed to ensuring transparent and corruption-free recruitment. Every citizen has a role in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Newly appointed candidates should serve with sincerity, integrity and dedication,” he said. He added that despite global challenges, India has maintained economic stability, and Indian Railways has achieved nearly 99% electrification, reducing dependence on conventional fuels.

As part of the programme, South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi Division, organised the local event. Candidates who received appointment letters expressed happiness. One of them, Avaneesh Kumar, said securing a Railway job had been his dream and credited his success to consistent effort and preparation. During the programme, appointment letters were distributed to 150 candidates from around seven departments, including railways, banking, postal services and assistant lecturer posts.
