Nagaland Govt Mandates ID Submission for Employees

The Nagaland government has issued a directive requiring all unauthenticated state employees to mandatorily submit identity documents for verification and authentication under the Personal Information Management System (PIMS).

Notification Details

A notification released by the personnel and administrative reforms department through the PIMS cell on Friday stated that this initiative aims to strengthen employee authentication and ensure better governance. The department noted that the state government had previously issued multiple instructions to departments and employees to link Aadhaar with PIMS through official memorandums. However, many employees have yet to complete the Aadhaar linkage process, leading to failures in identity authentication.

Compliance Deadline

The notification directs all unauthenticated employees to submit their identity documents to their respective departments. The government has set a deadline of June 3 for unauthenticated employees to submit the documents and comply with the order. Failure to meet this deadline may result in administrative action.
