Himachal Governor Launches Ladli Swarozgar Yojana

Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta released the poster of the 'Ladli Swarozgar Yojana – Empowered Women, Empowered Himachal' at Lok Bhavan in Shimla on Saturday. The event took place during a courtesy call by office-bearers of the Ladli Foundation, Himachal Pradesh.

Initiative Aims to Boost Women's Self-Employment

The Ladli Swarozgar Yojana, launched by the Ladli Foundation, is designed to promote self-employment among women by enabling them to market and sell products crafted through their own skills. The initiative seeks to encourage financial independence and entrepreneurship among women in the state.

Governor Gupta congratulated the Foundation on the initiative and extended his best wishes for its successful implementation. He praised the organisation's commitment to empowering women and strengthening their economic participation in society.

Governor Emphasizes Service to Humanity

Speaking at the event, Gupta stated that service to humanity is service to the Almighty. He stressed that everyone should actively participate in social welfare initiatives for the betterment of society. He expressed confidence that programmes promoting self-reliance among women would contribute significantly to building a stronger and more prosperous Himachal Pradesh.

Foundation's 15 Years of Social Welfare Work

Earlier, state president of the Ladli Foundation Shalu Akhtar and Diksha Sharma briefed the Governor on the organisation's social welfare initiatives over the past 15 years. They explained that the Ladli Swarozgar Yojana has been launched with the objective of enabling women to become self-reliant by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through the sale of handcrafted products.

Office-bearers and members of the Foundation were also present on the occasion. The launch of the poster marks a step forward in the state's efforts to promote women's entrepreneurship and economic independence.
