A chain collision involving six vehicles near Dobbspet on the outskirts of Bengaluru left 10 people injured on Tuesday. The accident occurred on the busy highway, prompting police investigation.

The incident took place around 9:30 AM on the Dobbspet-Bengaluru road, a stretch known for heavy traffic. According to eyewitnesses, a truck lost control and rammed into a car, triggering a chain reaction involving four other vehicles, including two autorickshaws and a bus. The collision caused a massive pile-up, with vehicles mangled and scattered across the road.
Injuries and Rescue
Ten people sustained injuries, ranging from minor bruises to fractures. They were rushed to nearby hospitals in Dobbspet and Bengaluru for treatment. Police and ambulance services reached the spot promptly, clearing the wreckage and restoring traffic flow after nearly two hours.
Investigation Underway
Authorities suspect overspeeding and poor visibility due to fog may have contributed to the accident. A case has been registered, and the truck driver is being questioned. Traffic police have advised commuters to exercise caution on this route, especially during early morning hours.
