Two Dead in Tragic Jabalpur Road Accident
A horrific road accident on the bypass road in Jabalpur resulted in the death of two individuals and left two others fighting for their lives on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred under the limits of the Kundam police station.
Sequence of the Tragic Collision
According to police reports, the tragedy unfolded when a car, speeding towards Jabalpur, violently collided with two motorcycles. The four friends on the bikes were all residents of Sadafal village. The impact of the high-speed crash was so severe that the car subsequently lost control and ploughed into a roadside tea stall.
Kundam police station in-charge Satish Andhwan confirmed that all four youths on the motorcycles sustained grave injuries. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Victims Succumb to Injuries
Despite efforts to save them, two of the injured could not survive. The deceased have been identified as Akash Vishwakarma, aged 28, and Deepak Mahobia, aged 45. The other two victims remain in critical condition, receiving medical care. The police investigation into the exact cause of the speeding and the circumstances leading to the fatal crash is currently ongoing.
