Three Burglars Arrested in Vishnupuri House Break-in
Hazaribag police achieved a significant breakthrough on Saturday with the arrest of three individuals involved in a residential burglary that occurred in Vishnupuri locality. The miscreants had targeted the home of Pinki Kumari on November 22, making off with valuable items before being apprehended following a detailed police investigation.
The Arrests and Investigation Breakthrough
Acting on crucial intelligence provided by SP Anjani Anjan, the police team sprung into action. ASP (Headquarters) Amit Kumar confirmed that the first arrest was made on Friday when Subhash Chandra Bose, alias Taxi, a resident of Demotand, was taken into custody.
Following Taxi's interrogation, police quickly moved to apprehend his two associates. Golu Prasad, alias Gola, and Amit Dubey were arrested based on information revealed during the questioning process, completing the trio's capture.
Massive Recovery of Stolen Property
The police investigation yielded substantial results with the recovery of stolen valuables worth significant amounts. Based on revelations from the arrested accused, authorities successfully recovered:
- 54.50 grams of gold jewelry
- 653.55 grams of silver items
- One laptop computer
- A home theatre system
- An inverter
- Equipment used for melting ornaments
Criminal History and Confessions
During interrogation, Subhash Chandra Bose (Taxi) made startling confessions about his involvement in multiple criminal cases. The prime accused admitted to participating in over 10 burglary cases registered across three different police station areas.
The confirmed affected jurisdictions include Katkamsandi, Sadar, and Lohsinghna police stations, indicating the group's extensive criminal operations across the region. Police are now investigating his potential involvement in other unsolved burglary cases in the area.
