Gruesome Discovery Near Creek

The victim's body was found on Monday near Desai village, bringing to light a horrific crime that had occurred days earlier. Police identified the deceased as 22-year-old Priyanka Vishwakarma, whose identity was confirmed through the initials 'P V S' tattooed on her wrist.

Investigation Leads to Arrest

Following the discovery of the body, authorities launched an immediate investigation. Using social media tracking and CCTV footage, police were able to trace and arrest the prime suspect on Tuesday.

The accused was identified as Vinod Srinivas Vishwakarma, aged 50, who had been in a live-in relationship with the victim for the past five years. During interrogation, Vinod confessed to the murder and provided chilling details about how the crime unfolded.

Chilling Sequence of Events

According to police officials, the tragic incident occurred on November 21 when a heated argument between the couple turned violent. Vinod allegedly strangled Priyanka to death during the altercation.

In a desperate attempt to conceal his crime, the accused kept the body in their residence for an entire day. However, as the corpse began decomposing and emitting a strong odor, Vinod decided to dispose of the evidence.

On the night of November 22, he stuffed Priyanka's body into a suitcase and threw it off a bridge near Desai village, leaving it on the banks of the creek where it was eventually discovered.
