Jhansi: Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Kanpur Zone, Anupam Kulshreshtha visited here on Wednesday and held a series of meetings with police officials along with public representatives and traders to review the law-and-order situation in the district.
Interaction Programme at Police Lines
During an interaction programme held at the Police Lines auditorium, the ADG listened to the opinions, concerns, suggestions, and expectations regarding public safety, law and order, and police functioning from various trade public representatives.
Media Briefing
Later, during a media briefing, ADG Kulshreshtha emphasized the importance of stronger coordination between the police and the media. She also informed about the precautions being taken during forthcoming religious programmes including Moharram.
“We have ensured through peace committee meetings that the height of ‘Tazias’ should not go beyond the permissible limits nor the sound decibels of DJs,” she said.
