In a shocking incident in Agra, a 30-year-old history-sheeter was shot dead by his own associates at a guest house located in the Trans Yamuna police station area. The police confirmed the details on Saturday, revealing that the victim, identified as Raj Chauhan, was attacked by youths who had accompanied him to the guest house on Tedi Bagiya–Jalesar Road.

Raj Chauhan had multiple criminal cases pending against him, including serious charges such as attempt to murder and offences under the Arms Act. In 2024, he was jailed in an attempt to murder case after firing at a man and injuring him. Another case was registered against him in December 2025 for taking out an unauthorised procession after being released on bail.

Investigators recovered several empty cartridges from the room where the shooting took place. Additionally, liquor bottles and glasses were found, indicating that alcohol consumption had occurred before the incident.
