Bradford Taxi Attack: Two Men Sentenced to Lengthy Prison Terms for Attempted Murder
Two men have been handed substantial prison sentences for the attempted murder of an 18-year-old who was brutally attacked while sitting in a taxi in Bradford. Harris Mohammed, aged 24, and Riccardo Nadim, aged 20, carried out the violent assault on Dovedale Road in March 2025.
Details of the Vicious Attack
Prosecutors informed the court that the pair approached the parked taxi in what they described as a “pincer movement.” Mohammed shot the victim twice in the face, while Nadim stabbed him from the opposite side of the vehicle. The coordinated attack left the young man with severe injuries.
West Yorkshire Police reported that the victim was hospitalized with injuries to his face, right arm, and back. Although the man chose not to assist with the investigation initially, authorities confirmed he has since made a full physical recovery.
Court Verdict and Sentencing
Following a trial, both Mohammed and Nadim were found guilty of attempted murder. In addition to this charge, they were convicted of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life. Mohammed, of Carbottom Road, Bradford, received a sentence of 30 years in prison. Nadim, of Tarnside Drive, Leeds, was sentenced to 28 years.
A third individual, 20-year-old Davian Lewis of Paley Road, Bradford, was sentenced to two years and six months for assisting an offender in connection with the case.

Detective Inspector Suzanne Hall of West Yorkshire Police commented on the severity of the incident. “This was a shocking incident that left a man seriously injured in the middle of the street, and it understandably caused fear and concern within the community,” she stated. “Today’s sentences send a clear message that those who choose to carry or use firearms and weapons will be pursued and brought before the courts.”
