Bulandshahr Birthday Party Shooting: 3 Killed Over Cake Smear

A private contractor from Bulandshahr, Jitendra Kumar, opened fire on his guests at his birthday party after they smeared cake on his face against his wishes, resulting in the deaths of three members of a family. Kumar is currently on the run. The triple murder occurred on Saturday night inside a gym in the district's Khurja area.

Incident Details

Among those present at the party were the local councillor's cousin, Amardeep Saini (32), his brother Manish Saini (30), and nephew Akash Saini (19). Around 11 pm, a heated argument erupted between Kumar and Amardeep over the cake being smeared. The contractor left the venue and returned with a pistol.

Superintendent of Police (rural) Antriksh Jain stated, 'Amardeep and Manish were shot from close range while Akash, who attempted to escape, was chased down and shot.' Before fleeing, Kumar removed the CCTV digital video recorder, according to police.
