A couple was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at their rented accommodation in Kaje, Alankaru village, Kadaba, on Friday. The deceased have been identified as Dinesh and Sangeetha, 40, who were residing there with their child.
Incident Details
According to a complaint filed by Sumalatha, a relative of the couple, Sangeetha's family members attempted to contact her by phone on Friday morning but received no response. Concerned, Sumalatha's husband visited the house and found the door locked from the inside. After breaking open the door, they found Dinesh hanging from the ceiling, apparently having committed suicide. Inside the house, Sangeetha was found lying in a pool of blood.
Police Case Registered
Based on the complaint, which alleges that Dinesh murdered his wife using a weapon following family disputes, the Kadaba police have registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Additionally, a case regarding Dinesh's suicide has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Police stated that an investigation is underway and further legal action will be taken.
