Amroha Court Stenographer Beaten to Death in Highway Road Rage Horror
Court Stenographer Killed in Highway Road Rage Before Family

A horrifying road rage incident on National Highway-9 near Meerut turned fatal on Sunday evening. A 38-year-old man faced a brutal public assault in front of his terrified family. The victim, Mohd Rashid Hussain, worked as a stenographer at the civil court in Amroha. He succumbed to his injuries after a vicious beating that lasted nearly ten minutes.

Family Trip Turns Into Nightmare

Hussain was traveling with his family to visit relatives in Moradabad. His wife Rukhsar, 35, accompanied him. Their young children, daughter Mayra, 4, and sons Aarish, 8, and Ammad, 2, were also in the car. Sixteen-year-old nephew Salman completed the family group. They were enjoying music and the drive after a long wait for this trip.

Minor Collision Sparks Initial Confrontation

The tragedy began near the Bambugarh-Joya crossing. A motorcycle brushed past their car, causing the riders to fall. Hussain got out of his vehicle after a brief argument. He helped the bikers to their feet. The men appeared uninjured at that moment. The family then resumed their journey, thinking the matter was settled.

Assailants Return With Reinforcements

Approximately thirty minutes later, the situation escalated dramatically. The same men returned with additional associates. They overtook Hussain's car and forced it to stop. A group of individuals then dragged Hussain out of his vehicle. They began hitting him repeatedly in full public view on the busy highway.

Family Pleads as Bystanders Watch

"They dragged my uncle out and began hitting him repeatedly," recounted nephew Salman. "They kept beating him even as he collapsed on the road." Salman described how around half a dozen bystanders stopped to watch the assault. None of them intervened to help the victim. Hussain's wife cried and pleaded with the attackers to stop. The assailants ignored her desperate appeals.

"We shouted and cried for help, but no one came forward," Salman stated. "They just stood there. My aunt kept pleading, but the men didn't stop." The beating continued for nearly ten minutes before the attackers fled the scene.

Victim Succumbs to Injuries

Hussain was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Doctors examined him upon arrival. They declared him dead due to the severe injuries sustained during the assault. The family's trip to visit relatives ended in unimaginable tragedy.

Police Register FIR and Make Arrest

Local police registered a First Information Report under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The charges include murder, rioting, wrongful restraint, and criminal conspiracy. Seven individuals face allegations in the case. Police named Mohd Kaleem, Mohd Kaseem, Mohd Naseem, and Mohd Shaan as accused. Three other men remain unidentified at this time. "The accused called their associates, followed the car and stopped it in their local area." Police have arrested one accused, 23-year-old Mohd Shaan. Raids are currently underway to trace and apprehend the remaining six individuals. Further investigation into the shocking incident continues.
