Political Criticism of Bihar Government
Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav launched strong criticism against the state government. On Sunday, he targeted the Nitish Kumar-led administration in Bihar. Yadav accused the government of complicity in crimes against women and minors across the state.
The opposition leader alleged that the administration protects criminals instead of victims. He specifically criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's silence on recent incidents. Yadav mentioned crimes against women reported in Madhepura, Khagaria and Patna districts.
In a social media post on platform X, Tejashwi Yadav wrote extensively about his concerns. He described what he called a corrupt system and machine-made double-engine NDA government. According to Yadav, this government has become a reliable tool for oppressors and criminals.
Yadav's post accused the Nitish government of being formed through vote-buying practices. He claimed this insensitive administration perpetrates atrocities on minor girls and women statewide. The RJD leader pointed to several specific cases to support his allegations.
He mentioned the gang rape and murder of a widow in Madhepura district. Yadav also referenced the heinous gang rape and murder of a four-year-old girl in Khagaria. Additionally, he cited the rape of a NEET aspirant from Jehanabad followed by murder in Patna.
According to Yadav, these incidents demonstrate the government's ruthless and inhuman nature. He accused key government figures of maintaining hypocritical silence about horrific crimes. Yadav claimed they pretend to be saints while atrocities continue under their watch.
The opposition leader further criticized Bihar police for their handling of such cases. He alleged that police use force against protesters while protecting criminals. Yadav specifically mentioned criminals involved in crimes against women and children receiving protection.
The political commentary adds another dimension to this criminal case in Darbhanga. It highlights ongoing tensions between the ruling government and opposition parties. The arrest has drawn attention to broader issues of women's safety in Bihar state.
