A doctor now faces arrest after police accused him of impersonating a senior Haryana Health Department official. He allegedly used this fake identity to blackmail a Gurgaon property dealer with threats of a false rape case. Officers from the Sector-50 police station in Gurgaon made the arrest on Sunday.
Doctor Identified as Suspended Government Employee
Police identified the accused as Krishna Kumar Jaildar. He is 42 years old and lives in Manwas village within Nuh district. Jaildar previously worked as a doctor at state government hospitals in both Panchkula and Gurgaon. However, authorities confirmed he was under suspension at the time of the alleged crimes.
Blackmail Scheme Unfolds Over Borrowed Money
The case began when the complainant, a Gurgaon resident, met the accused in 2023. The doctor used the name KK during their interactions. He visited the businessman's office frequently with an associate named Tinu. This happened while Tinu's father was receiving medical treatment.
Over time, KK borrowed money from the property dealer on various pretexts. He cited reasons like a seized bank account and vehicle servicing needs. The total borrowed amount reached approximately five to six lakh rupees.
When the businessman demanded repayment, the accused refused. Instead, he started making threats. KK claimed to be a deputy director in the Haryana Health Department. He boasted about having high-level connections to intimidate the victim.
Threats Escalate with False Rape Allegations
Police said the accused warned he knew several women. He threatened to implicate the property dealer in false rape cases if he did not comply. In August 2023, a woman visited the victim's office demanding money and issuing threats. The complainant managed to record this incident on video.
Later, the same woman submitted a rape complaint via email to the Women Police Station in Sector 51. She did not appear when summoned by authorities. The situation escalated further on October 24, 2025.
On that date, the woman filed a written rape complaint against the businessman and his friend. She did this at the women's police station alongside the accused doctor. Tinu then informed the property dealer about escalating demands.
Initially, the accused demanded seven lakh rupees to withdraw the complaint. He later increased this amount to sixteen lakh rupees. He refused to accept payments through a bank account, insisting on cash.
Police Investigation Reveals Conspiracy
Officers apprehended the accused from Panchkula. During questioning, he admitted to being a suspended MBBS doctor. He confirmed his previous service at government hospitals in Panchkula and Gurgaon.
The doctor also admitted to financial transactions with the complainant. He confessed to conspiring with his wife to file the false rape complaint. Their motive was twofold: to avoid repaying the borrowed money and to extort a substantial sum by pressuring the victim to get the case withdrawn.
Legal Proceedings and Police Statement
A case has now been officially registered at the Sector-50 police station. The court produced the accused on Monday and remanded him to two days of police custody. Officers said the investigation continues to identify any other individuals involved in the conspiracy.
In a strong statement, Gurgaon Police emphasized the seriousness of such actions. They noted that misuse of laws through false and fabricated complaints wastes valuable police resources. It also hampers justice for genuine victims of crimes.
The police force underlined its commitment to taking strict action against those who abuse the legal system for personal gain. They vowed to continue thorough investigations into such matters to uphold justice and maintain public trust.
