Faridabad Woman Dies by Suicide After Jumping from 4th Floor
A tragic incident occurred in Faridabad on Sunday when a 35-year-old woman died by suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of her residential society. The deceased has been identified as Priya, a resident of Sector 85 in the city.
According to the police, the incident took place around 10 am when Priya jumped from the balcony of her apartment. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the matter.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Priya was under depression for the past few months. Her family members have been questioned, and they stated that she was undergoing treatment for mental health issues. No suicide note was found at the scene.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and are waiting for the report to ascertain the exact cause of death. Further investigation is underway.
In a similar incident last week, a 22-year-old man died by suicide in the same area. The police have urged people to seek help if they or someone they know is struggling with mental health issues.
