Faridkot Police Arrest Two Arsh Dalla Gang Operatives

The Faridkot Police have successfully apprehended two operatives of the Arsh Dalla gang, recovering two foreign-made weapons along with live cartridges from their possession. The arrested individuals have been identified as Upjinder Singh and Talwinder Singh.

Weapons Recovered

During the operation, police seized a .30 bore Beretta pistol with 2 live cartridges and a Glock 9 mm pistol with 2 live cartridges. The arrests were made near a canal bridge on the link road from Panjgrai Kalan to Dhilwan village in Faridkot.

Criminal Links and Investigation

Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons had links with Navjot Singh alias Neetu, an associate of the Arsh Dalla gang currently lodged in Central Jail, Faridkot. The police have obtained a production warrant for Neetu, and further disclosures are expected during the course of investigation, said DSP Avtar Singh.

Criminal Histories

DSP Avtar Singh stated that both Upjinder Singh and Talwinder Singh have criminal antecedents. Seven cases under the Arms Act, drug trafficking, and other serious offences have already been registered against them. Additionally, seven cases under various sections are also registered against accused Navjot Singh alias Neetu.

The police continue to investigate the network of the Arsh Dalla gang and its operatives in the region.
