Four Arrested in Murder of Gym Trainer Who Assaulted Wife in Court

Vijay Kumar, a 34-year-old gym trainer, had been arrested earlier this month after he physically assaulted his wife during a court proceeding related to a domestic dispute. The incident, which occurred on June 15, 2026, was captured on CCTV and sparked public outrage. Kumar was released on bail on June 20, 2026.
On June 22, 2026, Kumar's body was found with multiple stab wounds near a construction site in the outskirts of Bengaluru. Police launched an investigation and arrested four suspects within 24 hours. The suspects, identified as Ravi, Suresh, Manjunath, and Prakash, are believed to be associates of Kumar's wife, according to police sources.
