BHOPAL: A sex racket allegedly luring unsuspecting men into a maze of blackmail, extortion, and false rape threats has taken a darker turn in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind, where police found that one of two women arrested in the case has been undergoing treatment for HIV for the past three years.
Racket Busted Three Weeks Ago
The racket was busted nearly three weeks ago. Police arrested all four accused named in the FIR – two women, both around 35 years old, and two men aged 25 and 40. All four accused were sent to judicial remand, according to Bhind Dehat police station in-charge Shivpratap Singh Rajawat on Tuesday.
HIV-Positive Woman Among Accused
During investigation, police learned that one of the women has been undergoing treatment for HIV for the past three years. Police seized some of the videos from the HIV-positive woman. The investigators are now tracking potential victims and examining seized videos for more leads.
The case highlights the dangerous combination of criminal activity and health risks. Police are urging anyone who may have been targeted to come forward.
